Consultation

I believe that strength and power resides in the stories of our communities and in my consultation work, I arrive with those stories as guides.

In my consultation work, I am passionate about collaborating to build programming and curriculum that is responsive to community needs to reduce barriers in care, education, and skill development.

My anchors in consultation work are informed by values of Disability Justice, Gender Justice, and Racial Justice.

These values have been modeled and taught to me by Femmes of Color, Fat Femmes, Sick and Disabled Queers, Sex Workers, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Folks, Childhood Sexual Assault Survivors, many unnamed, and interwoven filagrees between.

In my micro / macro assessment of programming and curriculum, I assess:

  • Broad themes

  • Gaps in care

  • Structural improvements

  • How to increase a practice of harm reduction.
