I am a trans nonbinary, disabled, and hard-of-hearing person whose families are Hawaiian, Japanese, and White.
In my 14 years of community care work, my focus has been in supporting children, youth, adults, and families in comprehensive holistic resource access through a cultural and trauma informed lens.
Hi, I’m Haku
Clinical Social Work Associate

I believe in the radical possibilities of change and transformation that exist when we have the safety, trust, and established therapeutic relationship to build towards restorative experiences.
Approach
I believe that storytelling is a way to understand the threads of our lives.
Together, we’ll collaborate to build a therapeutic container that is responsive to your needs by weaving narrative therapy, internal family systems, somatic inquiry, and solutions-focused therapy into our work.
It can be hard to find the words and language to understand and explain our experiences. This is why world-building through art and play therapy is essential to my approach.
I view therapy as a practice of collaboration, in trusting people as the experts of their own lives, and of building towards the self-identified skills and experiences that folks would like to explore together, on their own, and in their communities.
